DMCA Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
BountyChat respects copyright law and the intellectual property of creators, publishers, and rights holders. Content that unlawfully infringes another party’s copyright is not permitted on https://bountychat.online/. We review properly submitted notices of alleged infringement and take appropriate action under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Before Submitting a Claim
A DMCA notice should be filed only by the copyright owner or a person legally authorized to act for that owner. Before reporting material, please consider whether its use may be permitted by a license, legal exception, fair use, or another form of authorization.
Your complaint must identify specific material. Broad requests to remove an entire category, search result, website section, or unspecified content may not provide enough information for us to act.
Required Notice Information
A complete copyright-infringement notice must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work. If several works are involved, provide a representative list.
- The precise URL and sufficient details allowing us to locate the allegedly infringing material.
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its representative, or the law.
- A statement that the information supplied is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorized to represent its owner.
Incomplete or unclear notices may require additional information and can delay our response.
Our Response to Valid Notices
When BountyChat receives a complete and credible DMCA notice, we will review the identified material without unnecessary delay. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove the material, disable access to it, or take another reasonable action. We may also provide a copy of the complaint to the person responsible for the affected material.
Some pages may refer or link to resources operated by independent websites. BountyChat does not control material stored on third-party servers. If the disputed content is hosted elsewhere, the copyright owner may also need to contact the website operator or hosting provider responsible for that material.
Counter-Notification Procedure
A person who believes that material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notification containing:
- A physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the removed material and its former location;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification;
- The sender’s name, address, telephone number, and email address; and
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States federal district court and acceptance of service of process from the original complainant.
We may forward a valid counter-notification to the original claimant. The affected material may be restored after 10–14 business days unless the claimant informs us that a court action has been filed to prevent its restoration.
Repeat Infringers and Misrepresentation
BountyChat may suspend or permanently restrict access involving repeated copyright infringement. We also reserve the right to remove clearly infringing material when appropriate.
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may create liability for damages, costs, and legal fees. Parties who are unsure about their rights should seek advice from a qualified legal professional before submitting a claim.
